Stoving & Wet Spraying
With four spray booths, Access Coatings (uk) Ltd can use powder coating, stove enamelling or air drying sprays as and when required.
Our conveyor and tunnel oven are used for large batch work and many of our signage contracts.
Our box oven is economical for smaller orders as well as for cooking large items that would be too heavy for the conveyor.
For wet paints we use stoving enamel, stoving acrylic or air drying paints.
Stoving enamels/acrylics are cooked in the oven to harden while air drying paints may be warmed or simply left to dry in the environment. Air drying paints are useful for the few particularly large items that cannot go into an oven.
With stove enamelling the traditional skills of the sprayer are still required for high specification finishes (through applying several coats). Stoving is also used on test runs where a specific colour is desired, but the cost of large quantities of powder is unacceptable.
